Little day-before-birthday gathering for my mom over at Nana's house tonight. She is not a beer drinker but always buys a single bottle for me from the grocery store when she anticipates me coming over. Last week I enjoyed a semi-stale Redhook IPA. Here's what was in her fridge tonight:
Nothing spectacular in terms of exotic craft beer, but who's gonna complain when Nana goes to the trouble of buying her grandson some beers? Tasted great if you ask me.

Break for me too, Oskar Blues' Mama's Little Yella Pils that reminded me of MGD from what I can remember it tasting like in high school. Only beer of the night.
I saw JTH's review on that... is that beer available in cans? I've never seen it before.
Yeah, it's in cans and just became available down here this week. A gold can. Kind of funny that the label says "Gold Metal Winner." A decent Pils, sort of lemony and crisp. Decent flavor. I love the fact that it's in a can!
Yep saw it in a can at TPP today. Its decent enough on tap.
