My first Cascade sour at Hamilton's Tavern

This is their Kriek, very good, similar to Lost Abbey Red Poppy but not as much wood/tannin flavor in it. Different style of course but a very good kriek in and of itself.

To me that's the drawback with Red Poppy, too much wood/tannin. Just a touch more coarse than I like.

Lots of tannins in that first batch they released, but the 2nd batch was overall better to me and such a great easy drinking flavorful sour beer.
